Thursday Nov 12th. Merlin
The Johns were walking from the car park to feed and saw a raptor fly from the ground, just after the end of the trees. It flew into a tree at the end of the clearing. The female Merlin sat on the branch for probably 5 minutes. 2 photographers came along and both took a number of photographs moving closer until the bird flew off into the wood.
