16th December 2014

A day out today 16/12 with our cameras at Whitacre Heath saw plenty of activity at the feeder hide with a strong contingent of Great Tits followed up by quite a few Blue Tits. The Great Spotted  Woodpeckers(2) put in an appearance from time to time but seemed to nervous to linger long. Good views of the  Wren in the pond area made the day, with the Nuthatch constantly putting in an appearance after the peanuts. Very quiet around the rest of the reserve. (Alan Butler)
