Quick walk round on a sunny Sunday Morning.
A short stay at the feeding hide gave many blue and great tit, chaffinch, dunnock, robin, blackbird and GSW.
The hides overlooking water had tufted, mallard, widgeon, shoveller, teal, at least 1 pr of little grebe, pr mute swan, coot
Round the wood 2 GSW, pr bullfinch but not together, redwing, blackbirds and tits.

Pools still frozen and nice to see lots of snow still about.

Flashes: Canada Goose (12), Greylag Goose (14), Goldfinch (2)

Feeding Station: Willow Tit (1), Goldfinch (2), Coal Tit (1), Redwing (1), Long-tailed Tit (1), Robin (6+), Blackbird (7+), Chaffinch (10+), Blue/Great tits, GS Woodpecker (1f), Pheasant (4f), Dunnock, Grey Squirrel (1), Brown Rat (2), Sparrowhawk (flew through)

Woods: Bullfinch (3m 1 f), GS Woodpecker (3)


Car park area: Song Thrush (1)

Along River: Goldeneye (4m 2f), Little Grebe (2), Tufted Duck, Wigeon, Teal, Gadwall, Mute Swan (2), Cormorant (1), Grey Wagtail (1), Pied Wagtail (2), Mallard

Happy new year!!

First visit for aaggges. Nice to see Tom up there again although I wasn't expecting to see any one else in the River pool hide !

Anyway, all the pools were frozen so we spent most time in the field hide and the best of the day were two snipes coming in to land. GSW was heard in the woods and the rest were the usual suspects on the carpark feeders and field fare in the field.
